Who is Kissy Sell Out? Kissy is an English DJ, producer and graphic designer. Kissy Sell Out gained notability in 2006 for his eccentric electro productions and energetic DJ style.

In 2009 Mixmag described him as “one of the most exciting, charismatic and entertaining DJs of the decade”. He also heads the independent record label San City High in addition to his DJ work and he has released two albums “Youth” and the critically acclaimed follow-up “Wild Romance”.

With this radio show Kissy became an influential force in the developing electro scene not just as a producer but as a taste-maker too. Notable players such as Diplo, Felix Da Housecat, Hervé, Uffie & Erol Alkan made regular appearances alongside exclusive tracks Kissy supported which kick-started careers for a long list of breakthrough producers and DJs across the world.

In New Orleans Louisiana, the party’s been rollin’ for 100 years. We know where it comes from, but who knows where it’s goin’?

Back in the day, we’d push the chairs and tables aside and turn the music up loud. That’s the soul of the Southern Comfort Juke Joint.

Before, during and after the festival we have volunteering spaces aplenty for you to get your teeth well and truly stuck into. It’s loads of fun, a great way to meet people and great experience for anyone interested in events. In return for your hard work you’ll get to attend BBL 2012 for free, get some great event experience and enjoy the mayhem. Most importantly you’ll have plenty of time off to enjoy the festival. Volunteers have to complete around three 8 hour shifts and pay a deposit (this is refunded once all 3 shifts are completed).
All of Beach Break Live’s volunteers are supplied by Seed Staff, a festival staffing company that provides staff to dozens of festivals across the UK.

Lounge on the Farm has been granted a full license for 2012 for the seventh consecutive year! Our capacity has been held at 10,000 for the second year running so tickets will be in short supply and we advise purchasing now in order to grab one in time.

The license also allows us to keep venues open later into the night, so the farm is set to be rocking into the early hours,whilst customers can bring a certain amount of alcohol onto site per person, specifically 3 Litres of wine or a case of Beer/Cider (24 cans).

All in all, we are getting incredibly excited about the way the festival is taking shape. 2012 looks set to be a stellar edition of Lounge, Farmers lets go!

Outgoing, for the twelfth year running, have organised the holiday packages and ticketing for the mighty Snowbombing festival. Each year the event expands in to unknowns. 2012 see’s 7000 bombers, staff, residents and intrigued onlookers party in the breath-taking beauty and mountainous backdrop of Mayrhofen, Austria. People from across the UK and as far and wide as Australia descend on the chocolate box town bringing it to life in a cauldron of colours, personalities and dancing feet!

Outgoing staff have been prepping for months, organising everything from the 10 miles of bunting criss-crossing resort to the 5 (full to the brim) articulated lorries, 200 plus hotels, 20 international coaches and 4000 beds needed to create such an awesome party in the middle of the Austrian Alps.
7000 customers and staff have passed through Mayrhofen’s Europahaus to pick up their wristbands in the last two days, and what a wonderful sight it has been to behold! Bombers come in all shapes and sizes, from Dick Dastardly and Mutley leading the charge on the Road Trip to Mr Motivator and Eddie the Eagle Edwards giving that nostalgic feeling only legends can. Each and every one of them needs a comfy pillow to lay their head on after a hard day’s partying on the mountain. That is what Outgoing specialise in. Sourcing, scoping and organising transport and accommodation for tens of thousands of people throughout the year. Snowbombing isn’t the biggest event we cater for in numbers but it is most certainly one of our favourites.

‘Ich liebe dich’ to all of our Austrian friends, hotel owners, shuttle bus drivers, security guards, butchers, chamber maids etc etc who make this event possible and as memorable as it is. Let the Games Begin! To get bang on into the 2012 Olympic spirit and as a thinly veiled excuse to get everyone half naked, the dress code for this summer is VIVA LA GAMES. Think Togas, spandex, speedos and singlets and get creative with your outfits!

From the epic Torch Party Opening Ceremony to the sunshine, shenanigans, and spandex that will follow over the following days and nights, the scene is set for a party of colossal scale with an Olympic twist.

To kick start the festivities our Opening Ceremony, hosted by Festival Fun buster’s Bearded Kitten, we’ll be delivering a high octane, aural and visual Olympic journey taking in the best music and performance from across the globe as the torch is passed between countries (…. did someone say Stavros Flatly and Sun?),  culminating in a turbo rinse out by host nation Great Britain…. We’re also gunning to enter the Guinness Book of Records for the world’s biggest toga party so get your bed sheets prepped, (sorry mum its soiled! )

And as a little incentive to get into your toga (as if you need any) the best fancy dress team of four will become Greek Gods for four days…. Omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent…. As a thank you to residents living in the immediate vicinity of the event, who are permanent residents within the Carmarthenshire postcode area of SA16 or have Kidwelly in your postal address, then a LIMITED number of ‘local tickets’ will be available for you to purchase. You do not have to be a student to purchase one of these tickets, however you must live within the area specified and you must bring a utility bill (within 3 months) with your name and address AND photo ID as proof of age (STRICTLY +18). Local ticketholders who arrive for accreditation without a utility bill as proof of address as well as ID will not gain entry to the event and will not be refunded.

As we enter the final day of Altitude 2012 it’s hard to deny the sense of community that has grown between the festival-goers, Altitude staff and the comics.

The beautiful resort of Mayrhofen has one main street where most people can be seen between gigs, be it returning or collecting skis and boards, or feasting on some of the delicious Austrian food and drink on offer all along the strip. As co-creator Andrew Maxwell said at last night’s Gala, it’s not like anyone attending is unfamiliar with each other. On the slopes all day and at comedy all night. A niche market, I suppose, but it certainly shows that everyone attending the festival has at least two interests in common which make for easy connections. There is a lovely atmosphere at these gigs and around the resort as a result. Maxwell continued, making the point of how challenging a festival it is for the comics. Nearly every performer had at least two gigs to deliver, but to the same people. Both Benny Boot and Ben Norris asked the audience who had seen them the night before and finding 80-90% had been at the other gigs, successfully stepped away from their usual 20 and smashed the gig despite it. Benny Boot had gained so many fans from the night before that he performed Altitude’s first ‘Joke Encore’ where audience members demanded he repeat one of their favourite jokes and even said it along with him!

Thursday night’s Gala show featured performances from Craig Campbell, Rufus Hound, Andrew Maxwell, Marcus Brigstocke, Phill Jupitus and Tim Minchin. As we’ve grown accustomed to, the night was a great success! Between stories of Craig’s morphine madness, Maxwell’s kidnapping and Rufus deciding he would pick up from where he left off last night in today’s show, Minchin’s musical skills were the only way to bring it to a close. The crowd swarmed in to the Late Late Show afterward all a’buzz with his charm. The late show saw Terry Alderton wake an audience member in the front row and throw him on stage with the simple direction ‘Now be funny!’. Chairs were thrown and fire extinguishers wheeled out on trolleys. That’s the kind of night we had and that’s the kind of night everyone wanted. The fab Tiernan Douieb, Andre Vincent and Terry Alderton opened the first half, followed by compere Matt Reed, Andi Osho and Benny Boot for the second. The final two shows will take place today, with a comedy marathon gala show this evening from 7pm and another late show to close us out. Hard to believe the festival is nearly at an end. Best make the most of the time left; to the slopes!

The Beer Garden is close enough to the Beach BBQ and the Gravel Pit to tempt you out of your hangover with a banger*, but gives you an ideal space to rest your weary head and mop your brow with a cider or two if necessary. It’s here Farmers! Among the first announced acts for Lounge on the Farm 2012 are the Mystery Jets, British hip hop pioneer Roots Manuva and rising star Emeli Sandé, who has a number one debut “Our Version Of Events” and like 2011 headliner Ellie Goulding before  her, an acclaimed BRIT’S Critics Choice Award under her belt, strengthening Lounge Of The Farm’s ethos of harbouring young British talent.

They will be joined by indie Liverpudlian trio The Wombats who are certain to provide the perfect summer soundtrack with their jittery and jangly indie pop, making them perfect Saturday night headliners.

Drum and Bass legend Goldie represents one of the first acts from the dance contingent and is sure to bring bass heavy beats to the farm along with reggae obsessive David Rodigan, who was recently given an MBE for his contribution to the genre over the years. The all new Hoe Down Dance Arena may well lose its roof when Papa Rodigan takes to the stage!

Legendary disco outfit Chic, whose discography spans four decades and includes such disco classics as ‘Everybody Dance’ and ‘Le Freak’, complete what is undoubtedly set to be a varied and carefully considered line up that will cater for adults and younger audiences alike. We are incredibly excited to welcome perhaps the greatest Disco band of all time to Merton Farm, as Nile Rodgers’ outfit have played perhaps the biggest role in forming the universally adored sound of Funk and Disco over the last 30 years.
