RIP Daniel Lloyd and Hugo Wenn

RIP Daniel Lloyd and Hugo Wenn

Lounge on the Farm is mourning the terrible loss of two of Canterbury's best loved young musicians. Daniel Lloyd and Hugo Wenn were famous local street buskers and entertainers. Both were highly talented young men, Daniel as a gifted singer-songwriter known as Taihg and Hugo as an inventive and contagiously funny beatboxer. Their presence and character on the streets of Canterbury will be sorely missed. Wenn had been due to record with friend Dulcima Showan's band, Coco and the Butterfields. Showan said the track had now been recorded and as a tribute the young mens' names had been included on it. Find out more details on their website here http://youtu.be/UvyNT3uQvAo

LOTF Channel 4 show

LOTF Channel 4 show

For the very first time, Lounge on the Farm will have its own dedicated programme on National Televsion, due to air at 00:25 on on Channel 4, on the evening of Thursday 28th July (technically Friday Morning). The show features all the wonderful weirdness that took place on the farm during the festival, loads of interviews with some of the major artists performing on Merton Farm, vox pops with some of the characters on site, a catch up with the Farmer himself and lotf of gorgeous footage of the farm in full swing. Amazingly, the crew managed to bag some highly exclusive acoustic sets from some of the festivals artists, including some of the headliners. These were shot amongst the barley fields located next to Merton Farm, allowing for some sumptuous scenes as the musicians played out to the sun setting across the farm in a highly unique location. The Barley Field, Merton Farm Some of the artists featured in the LOTF 2011 TV show include: Ellie Goulding Jamie Woon   Graham Coxon Example *all photo's were taken on site at LOTF 2011   Please make sure you tune in on Thursday night at 00:25 for Ticketline presents: Lounge on the Farm 2011.
