Pammy’s Plymouth Party!

So Summer Break ventured down the country to the southern-most leg of our Campus Invasion.

Throughout the journey down from Manchester we were followed by glorious sunshine, but of course as soon as we hit Plymouth the sun went away. That didn’t dampen the spirits, the campus invasion team had to put smiles on everyone else’s faces in other ways, so we hooked up with brand manager Sarah Pook and her team of reps, and we set about our mission to do that.

A lot of free merchandise was to be had on campus and people were queuing up to grab what they could. The girls got up to some mischief by gate-crashing a packed lecture theatre, getting the merchandise passed out far and wide…..the lecturer was not happy!

The Plymouth Campus Invasion was fortunate enough to coincide with Varisty, this was a perfect opportunity to spread the Summer Break love. We underestimated how much pint-filled students love blasting beach balls through the crowd!

On to yet another Oceana that evening, and yet again people came in their thousands to see what was to offer, people yet again tried and failed to win that exclusive holiday slot, with the winner Nick eventually racking up a time of 2 minutes 23 seconds.

This was surprisingly low for a city which is less than an hours drive away from the UK’s premiere surfing hotspots…..lets hope they better that at Summer Break on the real waves!

The long journey to Portsmouth ensued with the Campus Invasion team absolutely shattered.

Here we hit up the Students Union with all Summer Break had to offer.

Pompey students definitely lapping up the weather as well as all the freebies, all kitted out in shorts and vests……we can tell we’re on the south coast!

We were lucky enough to land in the students union whilst the Wagamama’s noodle demonstration was on, so we stuffed ourselves while we could and made sure we collected the discount vouchers as we left……safe to guess where we ate that night, perhaps we should have left them for other students but after all we gave them from the back of Pammy, I’m sure they wont mind!
